Meet Idara Ekpoh

Idara Ekpoh is a Nigerian-American photographer, creative director, and educator who creates captivating visual experiences through dreamlike and cinematic portraits.

As a first-generation Nigerian-American woman, her work is centered around storytelling, healing, and identity — bringing visibility to the stories of those within her community.

Through intentional design and cultural storytelling, Idara empowers artists, dreamers, and storytellers to explore their identity and see themselves more fully.

Idem Studios is a 600 square foot creative space designed with intention. Every corner is built to inspire — from the blackout curtains to the seamless backdrop paper, every detail serves your vision.

Located in the heart of Tempe, Arizona — this is not just a studio. It is a refuge for artists, dreamers, and storytellers who are ready to create with purpose.
